Seedhi Baat is an opinionated talk show whose main objective is to get a in-depth and realistic analysis of the raging issues facing today’s Pakistan. This program revolves around the expert opinion of country’s leading journalists /analysts / intellectuals on the subjects ranging from politico-economic and socio-cultural issues to the issues of national and international importance. The experience journalists, analysts who have been involved with media for quite some time and are household names because of their acerbic commentaries in print and electronic media have a wide following especially among young adults and intelligentsia, would give their expert opinions in this program. Seedhi Baat is a current issue based talk shows in which host Benish Saleem generally asks cunning questions and shares interesting and most concerning news with expert analysts to get there most valued analysis. Benish Saleem has worked in various news channels as an anchor and news caster. She is an energetic anchor person who also loves to speak too much in a show.  In recent episodes of the seedhi Baat senior journalist Gohar Butt participates in the show as an analyst. Prior to him Mohammad Shahbaz Mian has Bureau Chief Lahore for Capital TV has participated in Seedhi Baat as an analyst.

Seedhi Baat exclusively broadcasts on Capital TV on every Monday to Friday during its prime time transmission at 11:03pm. Capital TV live is a 24 hour Urdu news channel from Pakistan. It is available both on local cable and satellite. Capital TV’s broadcasting mostly based on news, headline news, breaking news, talk shows and other entertainment and infotainment programs. The channel is newly launched but with services of highly professional journalists and anchors Capital TV is listing up in the chart of leading news channel of Pakistan. The channel slogan is consist on three words “Qaum, Mulk, Saltanat” taken from the national anthem of Pakistan. Capital TV live believes in to provide natural and unbiased news and analyses on national and regional issues. Apart from Seedhi Baat, Capital TV also telecasts many other quality based talk shows including Belaag, News Plus, IMROSE With Imtizas Alam and News Plus.  The show broadcasts on Capital TV at the time when other news channels generally telecasts comedy based political programs. Capital TV is leading up with other news channel including: Geo News, ARY News, Express News, Dunya News Live, Samaa News, and AAJ TV.
